Oxymoron Story Starter
Many creative people say that combining opposites is a good way to come up with original ideas. What could be more opposite than the words in an oxymoron, such as
loud silence
, or
sad happiness
. Use the oxymoron
healthul illness
to develop an idea for a story. What would a healthul illness be like and how would it play out in a story? For example, imagine that the protagonist has a healthul illness, that a healthul illness is going around, or that healthul illness is a metaphor for something else. Write a brief statement to give either an outline of the story or the opening paragraph of the story.
